Challenge:
To create a high-end branding video and win the respect of TaylorMade's new director of branding, thus continuing a long-term working relationship with TaylorMade.
Solution:
TaylorMade adidas Golf Company, has been a client of Multi Image's for the past 10 years. Recently they appointed Merle Marting, who previously worked for such sporting industry giants as adidas and Nike, as director of branding. During his tenure at those organizations, Marting established strong personal and professional relationships with a production company other than Multi Image, and upon his engagement at TaylorMade, sought to continue this relationship for special events and video work. Due to Multi Image's long and successful relationship with TaylorMade, current President Mark King, whose loyalty remained with Multi Image, requested that the two companies separately create a video branding TaylorMade. Multi Image not only delivered a unique and strong brand identity through their video, they clobbered the competition! The piece captured both Marting's and King's vision of TaylorMade, while the competition's video completely missed the mark. Remaining TaylorMade's sole vendor for video production and special events, Multi Image reinforced its credibility and creativity…and gained a convert in Marting!
